Don’t do THESE, You’ll Regret.

Buying car, selling cars is pretty common. Most of us want to drive a new car if possible and that includes selling off the old car. However, not all of us know the right way to sell our car.

Selling our car can seem easy but we need to avoid some mistakes to obtain higher value for our car. Here are some of the mistakes that we shouldn't make when we are selling our cars.

1) Not Knowing Our Car’s Market Value.

Your car’s current value is the value after taking off depreciations, considering the wear and tears, mileage, factory options and even customization.

After those values are applied into your car, the value of your car will drop. For example, if your car has a lot of damage, or high mileage, the value would be lower.  Not knowing the actual value of your car could lead you to selling your car at a higher price, making it hard to be sold or selling at a much lower price, causing you to lose.

2) Not Knowing The Car’s Specifications.

You need to know all the specifications of your car to boost your confidence as well as honesty when you are dealing with potential buyers. Of course, this also means that you are not hiding any information from them.

You would need to know your engine size, horsepower, fuel consumptions, and other important information regarding your car.

3) Forgetting The Service Record.

Car value and its service are tightly related. Proper servicing by durations or by travelling distance is important.

Proper servicing effectively slows down the car’s depreciation as the car is properly maintained. This also means that the car’s value drops slower. With the service record book, the potential buyer can know that the car is well maintained (thai is if you maintain it well) and accept to buy the car at better price.

4) Not Washing The Car.

This is one mistake you really shouldn’t do. Think about it, if you are buying something and it is dirty, will you even want to buy it? Surely, NO.

This goes the same to your car. Who would want to buy a dirty car? You need to wash it, clean it, both interior and exterior.. You can choose to clean it yourself or at a car wash shop, or if your car interior is already used and torn, you can get it done too. A well cared for car can be sold at a better price. Even with the usage of leather upholstery, your car can be sold at a higher price too.

Make sure to visit Carbi Deco Leather Industry if you want to make sure your car interior looks well before selling it.

We hope that this article can help you guys that are planning to sell your car. If you know any other mistake that we shouldn’t make when selling our car, please share it with us in the comment section.

We all wish to get the best price possible for our car.
