Make Your Car Safer on the Road. How?

Driving may seem all fun because now that we can finally go out, we are going to do more driving than before. However, do make sure to make your car safer for you when you drive. 

It is always better to do more than to regret, right? Here are some things you can do to make yourself safer when you drive. Got to be safe on the road ok?

1) Rear / Reverse Camera

Yes, I know, most of us can reverse our car with the use of a rear and side mirror but we still can’t see what is below right? I mean we can see what is behind but not what is behind and below the car. That side of the view would've been blocked by the car’s trunk. You wouldn't want to run into a short object or people at that blind spot.

Rear or reverse camera, however, is not a provided feature for all cars. You can consider getting your’s installed at a car accessories shop. Make sure to get the one that provides you with a wide angle and clear views.

2) Ram Bumper

Ram Bumpers provide you with good safety features when you collide with or are collided by others. We often saw some SUVs or Off road pickups that install those at the front and at the rear side of their vehicle. 

Admin recommends installing those if possible. Admin stayed at a place with a lot of huge lorries and buses and felt that those ram bumper makes me safer.

3) Good Quality Tires

Yes, tires are important. They are the parts that make contact with the road. You need them for your car’s handling. Get a set of good tires. In Malaysia, the weather can be really unexpected. You need to have your grip all the time so your car doesn't ski off the wet road while it rains.

4) Check The Electricals

Most modern cars now come with a lot of electrical features. You know, those sensors, lighting, screens, switches and those that require electrical components. 

Make sure that the electrical system is well. Get them checked from time to time. They can drain your battery or be faulty without you knowing. If things go bad in a serious way, your car could end up in fire so make sure that you get those checked well from time to time.

5) Use Fire Retardant Upholstery

Do you know when your car will get on fire? No. Can you risk your car on fire? Surely, no. Like the safety tips above, the electrical fault can cause fire, do you want to be safer? 

If you want to be safer from fire, get your car upholstery material changed to the one with fire retardant features. In case there is fire, you would have more time to escape and put out the fire.
